Take the air nozzle of your compressor and insert inside one of the tank holes. Fasten the nozzle properly using a duck tape. Then, in order to wash out the fumes from the tank, slowly turn on the compressor.

It's a V-SOS. With the 5 hp motor and compressor it weighs a ton. As soon we get that cut off it will be easier to handle. Planning on adding 2 doors, 1 for fuel, 1 for food placement. The tank is 24" diameter x 4' high end to end.

- 27/05/2005 · While a 60 gallon tank will make a nice smoker, it could hardly be called giant. Around here a 60 gallon tank will make a medium sized grill, you would need a 120 gallon just to get into large. Giant would involve axles and at least a full size 1/2 ton to move it.
- The tank is five feet wide, with two rounded sides and two flat sides. Grind the sharp edges off the cut-out. The cut-out will be your smoker door. Place the flat piece inside the tank, then build a hardwood fire inside the tank. Let the fire burn for a couple of hours, keeping it very hot. This burns off oil residues. When you finish you can scrub the smoker with detergent and scouring pads.
